When attempting to activate your license, you may receive the following error message:
"Maximum number of activated clients reached"
This message indicates that the license key you're using has already been activated on the maximum number of devices allowed. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Review your activation email
Check the activation email sent to your registered email address. This email contains important information about your license, including:
- The number of components or devices allowed for activation
- The license key issued
- Activation instructions
Make sure the number of activated devices does not exceed the number stated in the email.
Step 2: Deactivate license from old machine
If you have access to the previously activated machine(s), you can free up a slot by deactivating the license from one of them. Follow the official deactivation guideline available here: Agent Deactivation and Studio Deactivation.
Once deactivated, you can proceed to activate the license on your new machine.
Refer to the activation article that matches your license type:

Step 3: Contact customer support (If the old machine is unavailable)
If the machine previously used for activation is no longer accessible (e.g., broken or lost), please contact our Customer Support team. To help us process your request quickly, include the following information:
- Forward the original activation email you received
- Provide the license key you are trying to activate
- Share the machine code of the previous device, if available
- Mention the activation date (approximate if exact date is unknown)
