This section introduces an overview of publishing and the method for publishing projects. By performing a publish, you can execute the project from Agent or Center.
1. What is Publishing?
Publishing is the process of connecting a project created in akaBot Studio to the Center or Agent, making it executable.
2. How to Execute a Project from Agent After Publishing
- Open the project you want to publish from akaBot Studio and click "Publish" in the "Deployment" section of the "Home" tab.
About the Displayed Popup Screen
- Publish to Options: If connected to the Center, you can choose "Center" or "Local." If not connected to the Center, only "Local" will be displayed.
- New Version: A number will be automatically entered, but you can input any number in "x.x.x.x" format that is greater than the "Current Version."
- Release Notes: You can enter any text here. Note: The entered information can be checked on the Center (akaBot Center 2.0.4.0 or later).
2. Click "Publish" to publish the project as a package.
3. Click "OK" on the popup screen.
4. Launch Agent and verify that the published project is displayed in the workflow list. Then, click the downward arrow icon in "Actions."
