Answer:
akaBot Extension v1.1.7 is based on Manifest V2, which has been officially deprecated by Google starting from Chrome version 139. As a result, all Manifest V2 extensions are blocked from running in Chrome 139 and later.

How to continue interacting with Chrome?

To work with Chrome versions 139 and above, you will need to:

  • Upgrade to NativeBrowser package 5.x.x.x or later

  • Use the akaBot Extension v3 (Manifest V3)

Can I still use akaBot Extension v1.1.7?

  • Yes, but only on Chrome 138 or below

  • You must disable Chrome auto-update to prevent it from upgrading beyond 138

  • Note: Not all Chrome 138 builds support the extensionManifestV2Availability policy, so compatibility is not guaranteed
